This is a simple tutorial showing you how to turn your images into miniature/gigantic sizes, my example will be turning a large image into a small thumbnail.

1) So we start off with an image, in this case I'm going a picture of Ashlee Simpson, the love of my life. :[

2) Now click 'File' > 'Save For Web' (optionally you can hotkey it by pressing: Alt+Shift+Ctrl+S), once done you should be seeing the same dialog box as this:

3) As you can see I've marked out some of the image in red, pay attention to this as those are the key points.
  • Click the 'Image Size' tab, which allows us to key in our new image size.
  • Key into the \"New Size\" section the width and height you want your image to turn. (Optionally, you can preserve the images ratio aspect by checking then 'Constrain Proportions' box).
  • Once done click the 'Apply' input and save.
4) Heres my finished "image redimensionar" result, in this case thumbnail:

Notes: You can use this tutorial to other extents, like blowing up an image into constraint proportions, this would be done by putting a bigger number into the width and height boxes.
